AquaMetix®  is designed to provide the highest quality drinking water possible from a single stage block filter.  AquaMetix® will reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concern.  The dense pore structure and vast surface area is ideally suited to improving taste and odor, color, chemicals, and fluoride.  AquaMetix® is a proprietary matrix comprising of at least two types of activated carbon, combined with proprietary Zeolite minerals, structurally bound with polymers into a highly porous block filter.
This very unique adsorbent will adsorb a variety of organic and inorganic substances; chlorine and the more difficult to remove chloramine.  AquaMetix® reduces both the chlorine and ammonia compound for true chloramine reduction, unlike most filters on the market.  AquaMetix® combines the highest FDA compliant raw materials with cutting edge manufacturing methods resulting in unparalleled performance in an exclusively USA manufactured product.

AquaMetix® features:

  • >99% Chloramines (based on 3pmm challenge-NSF/ANSI Std 42)
  • >99% Lead (based on NSF/ANSI Std 53)
  • >92% Fluoride reduction (Independent Laboratory tests)
  • Will not biofoul extending the filter life

Additional reductions of the following contaminants:

  • Aluminium
  • Arsenic (III,V)
  • Cadmium
  • Chlorine
  • Chromium (III, VI)
  • Copper
  • Cysts
  • Glyphosate
  • Heavy Metals
  • Mercury
  • Nickel
  • Pesticides
  • Radionuclides

We include a Big Blue 20" Housing with 5 Micron 4.5 x 20 Pleated Sediment Filter.

The 20” Big Blue 5 Micron High Flow Pleated Sediment Filter provides the first phase of filtration, like a pre-wash, straining out larger sedimentary particles 5 micron and larger such as dirt, sand, rust, clay and metals. The pleats increase the surface area of the filter giving it longer life, and lower the pressure drop allowing faster flow rates. Straining out sediment is a key step in water filtration, since it negatively impacts your equipment and the color and taste of your water.
