AquaMetix® Quick Drip Gravity Block The AMX gravity block is designed to provide high quality drinking water for pour through and gravity type applications for municipally treated water supplies. This molded block technology is specifically designed to reduce particulate and chemical compounds including, chloramine, chlorine, lead, heavy metals, fluoride, Volatile Organic Compounds, Trihalomethanes (THM’s), mercury, chromium, and more. This filter is designed specifically for gravity and low pressure applications and requires no priming or pre-wetting procedures. This filter will reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concern. The dense pore structure and vast surface area is ideally suited for reducing chemical compounds.

    CeraMetix AMB Gravity Filter

CeraMetix® AMB Gravity filter is the most advanced ceramic filter available. CeraMetix® is our CeraSyl™ DE (diatomaceous earth) ceramic shell with our AquaMetix® QuickDrip™ carbon block core inside to offer the reduction of aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, chloramines, chlorine, cysts, fluoride, lead, mercury, nickel, radionuclides, silver, tri-halomethane, VOC's and zinc in a single, revolutionary ceramic filter element. The AMB version offers more consistent filtration reductions over the life of the filter when compared to the GF version due to the water having to pass through the carbon block wall inside the ceramic filter element.  The block ensures all the water has sufficient contact time, resulting in slightly higher reductions and more consistency than the GF versions.  The AMB version has a slower flow rate than the GF version due to the block core.

These CeraMetix® elements are for use in gravity filter systems only.  Slimline filters are 2" in diameter, Imperial sized filters are 2.75" in diameter and offer higher flow rates and longer life than the Slimline filters.
